I love living in a city where there are always birds around. Sure, we might not have the peacocks that would show up in my front yard in Texas (true story), but we've got oodles and oodles of pigeons. I hope that pigeons aren't angry at us for domesticating them and swiftly abandoning them after technology rendered their delivery services unnecessary. They don't seem too sore about it; at least they're not as aggressive as geese! I will never forget the time when my sister and I got really into feeding the pigeons when we went to a major metropolitan city. For some reason, my kid sis was really not feeling her meatball sub and fed the entire thing, piece by piece, to pigeons in our vicinity.
